Quincy Street was originally known as Watertown Harbor Road. It was renamed to Quincy Street in 1899 and is a major street in Quincy, Massachusetts on which many historic buildings stand. The street runs from the intersection of Pleasant and Essex Streets, to the Boston and Providence Railroad. Quincy Street is one of the oldest streets in Myrtle Beach. It was originally a dirt road used by settlers to get from the seashore to the town center. The street intersects with South Kings Highway and North Ocean Boulevard, just south of the Brittlebank bridge. Today, Quincy Street is well known for its great location and small town feel.
